Sapphire was purchased from Dyane Baldwin at Pond Hollow Chesapeakes and is out of Ch Pond Hollow Continental Divide x Ch Rock Point Thief in the Night.  She is very birdy, likes to jump and swim, and is eager to please as well as having a great temperament and very nice movement and conformation.  She has a fun personality and likes to "roo roo".  Sapphire completed her championship title in October 2013!!!  

Sapphire loves to hunt and retrieve birds.  She so far has had the opportunity to retrieve dove, geese, ducks, pheasant and quail.

Sapphire started competiting in SRS (Super Retriever Series) at the age of 5 months and continued in Dockdogs at 6 months old.  Her 1st event at 5 months she jumped 8 feet.  At 6 months she jumped 12 feet, at her 3rd event at 6 1/2 months she did 15 feet.  She did 20 feet at 9 months old and 21 feet at 15 months old. 
I'm very proud of her since she will listen to my 8 year old son and work as a team.  June 2012,  my son did a Dockdogs event and he jumped her 19 feet and made the Senior final with all the adults. 

Sapphire competed June 2015 at Splashdogs at the Cabela's in Fort Worth, TX.  They met her son Toro there and were neck in neck in the competition but mom won!!  She had a 21' jump!!

Sapphire went to the 2015 Chesapeake Bay Retriever National Specialty in Wisconsin where she made it to the 2nd round of Best of Breed competiton in a very nice group. She also placed 4th in Brood Bitch competition with her son "Boom" and "Ruby" as her get.

Sapphire completed 2 junior hunter passes at the Jayhawk Retriever Club hunt test in Kingman, KS in April and then in May passed 2 days in a row again at the Sooner Retriever Club's hunt test to complete her Junior Hunter title!!!!!

In this show photo, she put her ears down because she is actually getting ready to "roo" at me in the ring for not giving her the chicken!  She is only patient for sooooo long!
