Boom went Winners Dog / Best of Winners for his 2nd major at the Dallas, TX show.

Topaz won her first 3 point major at by going Winners Bitch / Best of Opposite in the bred-by class.

Boom's sister Ruby was Reserve Winners Bitch to Topaz.  It was a great day to be an Ironstone Chessie!!!!

Boom won his class in the Puppy Sweepstakes and then went to win his class again at the Chesapeake National Specialty and took home RESERVE WINNERS DOG  for a 3 POINT MAJOR!!!!  It was his very first day in the show ring and was entered in the 6-9 month class.  What an amazing win!!!  Boom is out of Ch Chestnut Hills Chisum X Ch Pond Hollow Prairie Jewel

Kustom completed her championship in Longmont, CO!!!  The next day she was moved up to compete for the Best Of Breed competition and took Best of Opposite for 5 points towards her Grand Championship!!

Kustom won 1 pt Friday and 2 points on Saturday at the Wichita, KS dog show.

Summer 2013

Zilla competed in a AKC hunt test put on by the Sooner Retriever Club.  The first day we did the land series easily after having to get control and start over when they failed to shoot the bird.  He easily retrieved 1 live flyer and a dead bird.  Then the water series got the best of us and he only retrieved the 1st of the 2 birds.

DAY 2 WE DID IT!!!!!

Had a tough land series and he passed with flying colors and the water marks were even harder.  A live flyer on a pond with a small island that he had to swim through water, get out on land and back into the water.  He had the straightest path to that bird!!  Was very impressed.  His last bird...he did not see at all and I tried to send him but he didn't know where to go so I had to send him as a BLIND!!!!  My first ever blind to have to send him on (only my 3rd hunt test to ever do and I am not his trainer/hunting partner!).  He did that blind PERFECTLY!!!  I gave him the back command and he flew across the water to the other bank and then I called him and told him to find that bird and he had it in a matter of a few seconds.  I couldn't have been prouder of my boy!

Sapphire competed in the Super Retriever Series (SRS),  Super Fly in Tulsa, OK at the Bassmaster's Classic and came out in 2nd place!!!
